We are an independent, woman-owned company servicing the Gulf Coast and Central Region of Florida. We provide a one-stop service to coordinate your document shredding/destruction, records storage/scanning, and bio-medical waste removal needs.  Shred Medic is large enough to handle any or all of these needs but small enough that you can communicate directly with people who care.  We promise to meet your needs in a professional, reliable and compliant manner.

Our ownership/management team has over 45 combined years of medical device sales including spinal implants, orthopedic implants, and orthobiologics.  In addition, they possess management experience that enhances their ability to meet your needs and expectations.

Shred Medic utilizes DHS Worldwide Total Recall software which provides our customers with the latest state-of-the-art technology.  This program offers you secure online access to reports, notifications, scheduling options, calendar, invoices, certificate of destruction, manifest and much more.

Brad Long

President
Brad Long is the founder and driving force behind Shred Medic. A native Floridian from Clearwater, Brad has resided in Sarasota for 25 years. While his career has included several industries and job functions, Brad has spent the last 18 years focused on the medical field. His extensive experience covers pharmaceuticals, orthopedics, implants, surgical devices and a variety of biological products. He is highly regarded in the field of orthobiologics which included synthetic bone grafting, hemostasis products and spinal cements for height restoration. He received multiple sales and achievement awards over the years. Brad is an innovative sales person, talented operations manager and possesses excellent leadership skills. His business experience and industry knowledge culminated in the desire to launch and manage a document destruction, medical waste and document storage company. He has an extensive knowledge that enables him to provide quality service, superior customer relationships and an ethical, compliant treatment of customers. Brad has been married to his wife, Amy, for 19 years and has two sons in high school. He spends his spare time with his family traveling and enjoying their love of baseball.
